Grading Information for Season 2020

To all Rovers members,

The updated grading sessions for various age groups are shown below for this weekend.

Please note, all players must be registered and paid in full to be eligible for grading with Rovers and this is our final weekend available to complete grading.

Note: Grading sessions will be run on LH Waud and Meadowbank Field # 9.

SCHEDULE OF GRADING

Sunday Feb 23rd (Field #9) 

U13 – 9.30am to 10:30am, Meadowbank Field 9
U14 – 11.00am to 12.00pm, Meadowbank Field 9
U15 – 12.30pm to 1.30pm, Meadowbank Field 9
U17s/18s – 2.00pm to 3.00pm, Meadowbank Field 9


Sunday Feb 23rd (LH Waud)

U9 – 9.00am to 10.00am, Meadowbank L H Waud
U10 – 10.30am to 11.30am, Meadowbank L H Waud
U11 – 12.00pm to 1.00pm, Meadowbank L H Waud
U12 – 1.30pm to 2.30pm, Meadowbank L H Waud
U16 – 3.00pm to 4.00pm, Meadowbank L H Waud

U8s – will be graded at the mini gala day.

IMPORTANT NOTE – WOMENS FOOTBALL:

Where girls/women’s teams in the Sunday competition from under 8 to U18 have numbers sufficient to fill one team, grading will not be required. Girl’s participants will be notified via the email and our website prior to grading commencement.

Arrival Time: Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for your age group for grading registration and team organisation.

Location and Meeting Point: Meadowbank Park, L.H.Waud and field 9. These fields are located at the river end of the park next to the netball courts and ERNA Building highlighted in yellow on the Meadowbank park map.


What to Bring:

  • Sunscreen
  • Drink bottles x 2
  • Shin pads
  • Shorts and shirt.
  • Please wear running shoes only to the field as boots are NOT permitted.
  • Goalkeepers are to bring their gloves.

SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS

Parents are expected to stay for the duration of the session in the event it is cancelled due to weather or other activity.

Parents are expected to remain outside of the grading area at all times. If you have concerns please speak to any of the Rovers officials outside the fields of play. We request that you refrain from giving instructions to your child or any other player whilst they are on the field during grading sessions.

For all teams from U8 to U11 2020, every effort will be made to keep teams in roughly the same teams as per the previous season. Please remember this is predicated on the number of returning players as we attempt to balance team numbers across the age groups.
